Witness’ HUB allows users to share videos on human rights issues around the world. Recently, they highlighted this video about state violence in Bahrain.

December 17 marks Martyrs’ Day in Bahrain, a day which pays tribute to past victims of state violence. During last month’s demonstration, Mr. Ali Jassim Mekki was killed, and a wave of protests and brutal arrests followed. Eight human rights defenders remain in detention. Reports claim those in detention have been subjected to physical and psychological ill-treatment and torture.
