The Vision

The VideoVoice Collective brings academic researchers, filmmakers, technology mavens, social justice champions, and community leaders together to improve the health conditions of underserved communities. We use a specific participatory filmmaking technique to:

• Build strong community partnerships
• Facilitate community empowerment
• Enhance social capital
• Increase community capacity

Our vision is to impact the structural causes of disease through advocacy efforts directed at policy and programmatic change.
